140 lbs. trying to lose weight
breakfast- small bag of trail mixes with no salt
lunch- small peanut butter sandwich(no crust), 5 potato wedges(had to get lunch from the cafeteria)gross!
snack- two pop tarts
dinner- 3 very small side salads( i was hungry)

I'd say you didn't eat enough!

You won't lose weight if you don't take in enough...I know it sounds absurd. But you have to eat to lose fat. At least 1200 cals a day just to live!

Watch those salads - many people think..."oh a salad...healthy". Wrong. If you pile salad dressing on it, you are taking in a LOT of fat, many aren't even aware of, so be careful of that.

Eat more fruits and veggies. Eat WHOLE grains, and avoid white bread - it has no nutrition worth a damn.

you didnt overeat.
you had maybe... 800 calories tops.?
which is wayy to little.
plus what youre eating is unhealthy, there is no fruit in that diet.
dont go under 1200 calories, and eat a balanced variety of food.


edit: fruit in trail mix is NOTHING. and its not fresh fruit either. you need fresh fruit.

oh and if the salads were ice berg lettuce, it isnt all that great for you, it has very little nutrients in it, to actually benefit from eating salad, make sure its either spring mix, or romane lettuce, or some other lettuce rich with nutrients. the darker the green, the better. unfortunately ice berg lettuce really isnt beneficial. and im saying this just in case it was iceberg.Health Question & Answer
