Muscle question?????!

Question: Muscle question.?.?.?.?.?
is there anything that is detrimental to muscles other than poor diet and not working out.?

I was wondering because i have been working out my arms(i workout every muscle not just my bis and tris) but i also play soccer as a goalkeeper.
so heres my question
does my goalkeepeing (diving, throwing, etc.) affect my biceps. will these activities make my biceps smaller or affect their growing process. i just decided to ask because a kid on my soccer team told me that when i dive for goalkeeping, i stretch out my biceps and they become smaller.

are there any other motions or awkward positions of my arms that can make my biceps smaller or affect their growing process after lifting.?
also, does weight lifting speed up or affect male pattern baldness in any way.?

thanks in advanceHealth Question & Answer

Answers:
Haha, I laugh at your friend. Well of course not, as long as yu do both weightlifting and soccer. If you just weight lift you will become inflexible and your arms will have a smaller range of motion which will be inimical to your goalie abilities. also, if you just play soccer you muscles will gradually adapt to that style of use and they will not literally get alot smaller but they might shrink a little in size and not look as big.Health Question & Answer

Male pattern baldness is heireditary. Getting big arms just requires heavy wieghts. A wieght you can't get more than 8- 10 times. Eat a lot of protien found in meat, eggs, peanuts. also try taking creatine that will add wieght and muscles.Health Question & Answer
