If you're trying to lose weight, then you must change your eating habits. If you're trying to gain weight, try incorporating a protien drink into your diet.

You can run 5 miles every other day and still not see results if your eating habits haven't changed. You can exercise until you can't exercise no more and still not see results!

What I'm trying to say is ... change your eating habits. Eat healthier foods. You don't have to drop your current eating habits cold turkey. For example, if you're craving chocolate or something sweet, try an apple or some kind of fruit. The natural sugars in the fruit should be enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. Or if you want coffee, go for cocoa. If you want crunchy, instead of chips, try pretzels. These little changes saves you a lot of calories. What you're wanting to do is less calories in, more calories out. You have to burn more calories than you are consuming ... at least burn a majority ... to see results.

You get the right foods in your body, add exercise, and voila! results in no time!

Good luck!

fyi ... weight training also helps to burn calories. Muscles weigh more than fat, so if you see the scale go up, don't freak out! Take a look in the mirror and that's (more than likely) where you'll see the results ... not the scale.Health Question & Answer

I usually do a type of aerobic, like jogging a few miles on one day and then lifting weights the next day.

So, I have a day on and a day off.

Jogging on Monday, weights on Tuesday, jogging on Thursday, weights on Friday, jogging on Saturday, weights on Sunday.

Sometimes, I mix it up a bit. Like the bike trail to the beach and back or some weights and bike.

Have fun!Health Question & Answer

Are you changing your diet at all, how old are you.?.? Those factors will help out a lot. I am also 135 lbs. I am doing an hour of cardio a day which equals to about 8 miles on my bike and elliptical and I am doing it 5 times a week. My boyfriend says you can already tell a change and I've only been doing it for about 2 weeks....maybe he's lying to me though. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
