Meatheads should stick to talking about cows. There is absolutely no reason to not eat fruits while on an exercise program. The starchs in potatoes quickly break down in to sugar in your bloodstream anyways, and the glycemic index of a potatoes far exceeds any fruit. Fruit is an important part of a balanced diet and needs to be included in any kind of nutrition program, whether you are lifting weights or not.
