Question: What is the best way to come out of a low calorie diet.?
i want to know what is the best way to come out of a 500cal/day diet that ive been on for about a month. i realise mi metabolism is temporarily slowed so im not going to jump back up to 1400cal. i was planning to very slowly increase my cal intake about 25cal each day......is this slow enough.? wat else shud i do to avoid weight gain and how long will it take for mi metabolism to go back to normalHealth Question & Answer

You know that you have a bad diet and of course I don't condone people eating so little.

But the best way to go back up is what your saying, increasing in small increments. You'll need to be more active to compensate for this.

Honestly you could go back up to 1400 a day if you were willing to put in a solid 45 minutes of cardio EVERY day for a few weeks and every second day for a few months, making sure after that to keep up regular activity and sport or gym visits.

If you find your self gaining weight on the scales, don't freak either. Make sure you measure yourself by how well you fit into your clothes, more weight on the scales might just mean your gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat.Health Question & Answer
