You probably shouldn't work your biceps more than twice in one week with at least two days rest in between. Are you working the rest of your muscle groups, or are you just concentrating on your arms.? I would reccommend that if you are interested in lifting wieghts that you get a routine set up. I work out five days a week, each concentrating on different muscle groups. I work each group once a week and have two days completely off the gym. The only things I will work more than once are abs, calves, and forearms. You should try doing something like:

Day 1: Biceps/Triceps
Day 2: Back
Day 3: Legs
Day 4: Chest
Day 5: Shoulders

This way you are working your entire body and getting the rest your body needs to recover. Overtraining a muscle does not make it grow larger, or make you stronger. You need rest for everything.Health Question & Answer

1-2 times a week is plenty. You don't want to over train them. Biceps also get worked when doing most back movements so they are getting indirectly worked on other days.

If you can keep increasing the weight and doing more reps at each workout when working them twice a week, then that is fine.

If you have stopped progressing, then doing only once will probably work better.Health Question & Answer

General rule is give at least 2 days rest for a body part. So if you work biceps Monday, dont lift them again til Thursday.Health Question & Answer

3 to 4 times xxxHealth Question & Answer
