What's an inexpensive way to gain weight?!


Question: What's an inexpensive way to gain weight.?
I am 6'3" and I weigh 170 lbs. I want to be around 195-200 lbs. I drink a lot of beer and soda, and I eat fast food and restaurant food A LOT. I still can't gain weight. I don't care so much about getting buff, but I do want to put on at least 25 lbs. What else can I do (no steroids or weight supplements).? Professional athletes go on a diet of malts/milkshakes and steak for a month or so whenever they want to gain weight. i don't know how old you are, but if you're a teen/young adult and your still growing, then don't do this diet. you can modify this diet to include salad and beans so you also have some protein. oh, and drinking a lot of milk makes your bones/muscles grow stronger. do you want to look bigger, or just wiegh more.? b/c if you just want to wiegh more, then drink milk and have vitamin supplements. this encourages bone and muscle growth, and bones and muscles wiegh a lot if they're big. if you just want to look bigger, then i suggest you to to a therapist...jkHealth Question & Answer

whole milk,sertin cheeses, pasta, bread, white potatoes, peanut butter, any starch or carb will turn to fat which is weight but i dont think thats a good thing, not including your family genes b/c they and you may have a high metabolism what you have to do is trick your body into thinking that it needs to store fat and other stuff instead of use it up as energy you may have to do research to figure out how b/c i dont have time to type the infinitesimal possibilities of how you can do that but just know that the way the body works in short where metabolism is concerned it eats fat then muscle for energy so if you have a high metabolism it wont store fat it will just use it for energy if you trick your body into believing that you need to store more and use less you gain weight Health Question & Answer

First of all, you are doing it unhealthily. Fast food and restaurant food have been shown to significantly raise fat levels in the blood in only 3 months (4 times a week).

My Mom, brother and neighbors all had problems keeping weight on but they weren't even in a normal BMI range, while you are. My suggestion is to EXERCISE regularly. It increases muscle which weighs more.Health Question & Answer

just eating junk food isn't the right way to gain weight, you need lots of protein if you're wanting to gain muscle mass.
peanut butter, many types of beans, tofu, and of course meat are all filled with protein.
