Question about exercising. 10 points for best answer?!

Question: Question about exercising. 10 points for best answer.?
Is it the best thing to do to start with cardio and then strength exercise.? Is squatting considered to be cardio or strength.?

About eating and drinking, is it true that you must eat at least 1 hour before exercising.? I have tried it and liked it. However, I just want to make sure. also, is it the best thing to do to take sips of water DURING exercising.?

Finally, is it okay that I take a bit of a long rest (5 min) between different exercise.? Example, I take a 5 min rest before switching from push ups to sit ups.

I know that I have asked a lot of question, so thank you for your trouble. I would also like to warn you that I will not tolerate stupid answers. I have asked a genuine question and are expecting genuine answers. Again, to those that are honest, thank you.Health Question & Answer

01: Is it the best thing to do to start with cardio and then strength exercise.?

I usually start off with strength, then switch to cardio because it gives me a bit of power then i go back to strength, etc so it doesnt really matter what you start with. depends on the individual person of which is better for you.

02: Is squatting considered to be cardio or strength.?

strength because your not jumping around and your heartbeat is not increasing.

03: is it true that you must eat at least 1 hour before exercising.?

You dont have to, its up to you. But just dont eat 30min before or after you exercise.

04: is it the best thing to do to take sips of water DURING exercising.?

Some people do not like taking sips of water during exercising because it can cause stomach cramps, etc. You are actually supposed to keep yourself hydrated when you are exercising - so yes, its best to drink sips of water during exercising.

05: is it okay that I take a bit of a long rest (5 min) between different exercise.?

Usually you want to lift first the do cardio. squatting is a form of lifting. the reason you want to lift first is because you wont burn up all your body's glycogen stores by running and get a be able to lift more longer. another reason to do cardio after lifting is to try to flush some of the lactic acid from your muscles so you wont be so sore the next day. as for the sips of water, i dont really know if it matters how you stay hydrated just make sure you do. and i tend to take around a minute and a half to two minute rest periods, so my heart rate will stay up.Health Question & Answer

The real truth is you can do cardie while you strength train. Say you're doing breathing squats (not using weights mind you) and do them for 5 min. you'll be breathing hard like hell. Cardie is what gets your heart rate up to a certain degree but you don't really need 30 min. to do it. Weighted squats are usually for strength but if you use too much that strength will go to waste in the long run as it could ruin your joints and ligaments. As for resting, 5 min. is way too long cause you're not getting the full benefit of exercise if you're resting most of the time. After an exercise take a few deep breaths then move on. If its a hardcore exercise which makes you work hard as hell then rest a min. or 2 none of that 5 min. BS. I do the same thing with eating and drinking as I wait an hour then exercise but depending how much one eats it depends on their metabolism. Learn what works and if it does stick to it and improvise, don't make things complicated but don't be lazy either. Get fit and be strong in and out.Health Question & Answer
