Midnight cravings can be attributed to deficiencies during the day, usually water, keep water bottles at hand instead of snacks. If you still CRAVE something stay away from simple carbs(candy, juices, or any sweets) as they will turn straight to fat due to lack of activity during sleep. also avoid salty snacks which would definitely leave u craving more. Hope those tips help.Health Question & Answer

Eating at night is not very good for you. If you need to wean yourself off of your midnight snacking, then you should start by limiting yourself only to vegetables after sometime around 8pm.

After that, move on to gum or something.

I hope that helps :D. I'm sure once you cut out the midnight snacking, your weight will go down a little, or at least maintain. After cutting out the midnight snacking, you can start looking into diets, if that interests you.Health Question & Answer
