How much weight could I lose in two months?!


Question: How much weight could I lose in two months.?
Just wondering approximately how much weight I could lose in two months by like eating the minimum and doing minimal exercise (I know that's a weird question and probably unhealthy). I'm going back to see my family for Christmas and I don't want to look too bad. I'm 20 yrs old and about 300some pounds if that makes any difference

This is the fastest and most effective way I know to lose weight. You can even make it "healthy" (to the extent that rapid weight loss can be healthy) by choosing healthy foods to eat so that your metabolism stays strong. If you weigh 300 pounds now, you could possibly lose 30 pounds in 2 months. (I lost 20 in one month and I was only about 30 pounds overweight.)
1) Go on the 5-4-3-2-1 diet

It works really well, but choose healthy foods to eat (lean protein, veggies, fruits, whole-grains, low-fat dairy, heart-healthy oils). You don't want your metabolism to get sluggish because that slows weight loss.
2) Give up all sweet drinks (even diet soda) and drink mostly water
3) Give up all extra sodium (don't salt your food and don't eat salty food)
4) Give up sugar (this is easy after the first three days)
5) Be active 30-60 minutes a day (the more the better for your metabolism and for burning calories)

Its healthy to loose about 2 lbs a week. So that would be approximately 16 lbs if you do it the right way. Men seem to be able to loose more than that tho. Its hard to say. In 33 weeks of changing my life style (not dieting) I only lost 4 lbs one week. The rest was 2 lbs or less or stayed the same or gained but I'm 66. I think its harder for older folk to lose weight. might be a crazy idea but if u want to lose weight and become healthy then concider veganism. u can eat as much fruit and veg and whole grains as you want pretty much but u have to make sure u ask a doctor first to see can do that. but u can lose a lot of weight by cutting out meat and dairy products.Health Question & Answer
