Question: PLEASE ANSWER!! ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY<< don't wanna go back to my eating disorder. so I'm trying to be healthy.?
ok.
so my teacher (also an excersise expert...but I want more opinions) said to work out every other day
I can still run every day

but like do arms one day, then abs, then arms, then abs

like that.

or...is my plan of
running every day
and doing abs, arms, and legs every day (I don't do legs as much b/c they work a lot when I run)

so what is the best way to approach it.? she said that it wont 'work' (like my muscles won't get shaped/toned) if I do it every dayHealth Question & Answer

Answers:
good for u! anyway, excersising intensly everyday isnt good. ull just bulk up or ur mucsles might tear which isnt good. it is good that ur running, so try running every other day, or 3 times a week. also try pilates. it works wonders. i say an hour a day of pilates and ur abs will be amazing, ur legs wont bulk up, and ur arms wont ever get flabby. Pilates rules! good luck, and i hope this helped!Health Question & Answer

i just want to say. a lot of people dont know it but eating disorters cause you to gain MORE weight. once you eat again, the weight will gain quick. when you stop eating, your digestive system slows down. so when you start again, the weight gains fast because your digestive system isnt working. so if you had an eating disorder resently, they stick to fruits, vegetables, juices, water, nuts, eggs, for a while so your digestive system builds back up. then slowely start eating again
but you can do different exercises for different parts of your body. start with 5 pound weights for arms. maybe 20 sit ups a day for abs. running for 20 min for legs. do one of those a day every other day. then start. then one every day.Health Question & Answer

Listen to her, she knows what she is talking about. You need to give muscles a break. So every other day for those areas is perfect.Health Question & Answer
