Help? Water Diet......is the scale lying to me?!

Question: Help.? Water Diet......is the scale lying to me.?
okay, so I've been on the water diet for the past 3 weeks, and I've gained 10lbs within the past 3 weeks. What's the problem.? I don't know if it's my scale or what.

I've did weight lifting a lot in the past, and had gained sooo much muscle, NOW i'm trying to lose all that muscle because it makes me look buff, and i don't like that. So, now that the muscle i gained is all most gone i'm gaining more weight. Is fat heavier than muscle.? is it the water making me gain weight.? is the scale telling me a lie.?

For the water diet i drink like 9 bottles of water per day, and i see the results, from my eyes, my body is getting smaller, but from the scale i'm gaining weight. I don't know what's going on. Should i lay off the water.?

sorry to make this so long and kinda confusing.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
muscle is heavier than fat actually.

but water weighs a lot if youre drinking a lot of water and 9 bottles a day is ALOT. you can actually drain your body of vital nutrients.
eat fruit and veggies in place of all that water. those are low in calories, full of essential nutrients and contain loads of water.
2 bottles a day is plenty of water for a human for goodness sakes!

you want to lose weight...do cardio exercises (such as walk non stop at a good pace for 30 mins or more) 5x week at least
cut way back on carbs such as potato, corn, fried foods, breads and pastaHealth Question & Answer
