Question: Is started working out 2 weeks ago, but now I am always hungry.?
My boyfriend seems to think it is just in my head. But about a hour after I eat I feel like I am starving again, I get nauseous, and my stomach starts to hurt. What can I do to keep this from getting out of control and not be able to lose any weight.?Health Question & Answer

Drink lots of water. A lot of the time when people think they are hungry they are actually just thirsty and since these hunger pains hit you after workouts it seems very likely that is what your body is telling you. When my husband gets hungry in between meals he gets a glass of water and adds just a little bit of lemon juice and stevia to it. Not so much that it looks like lemonade but enough to know that it is not just plain water. Stevia is a natural sweetener. The FDA won't approve it as a sweetener because it is a good and healthy alternative to sugar. I think it is sold as a "supplement" You can find it at health food stores. Anyway, this water lemon mixture is really good at fighting off hunger pains. And if all else fails you can just keep healthy snacks around. Just be very critical when you buy them because everyone is trying to cash in on the "healthy foods" market so they word the labels to seem healthy but the product may not actually be healthy. You will have to do some homework to know which snacks are good for you and what you are trying to accomplish in terms of weight loss, muscle building, endurance, etc. Good luck to you. Health Question & Answer
There's a possibility that by excersising, the contents of your stomach is passing through your digestive system too quickly due to constant movement.
Another possibility is that your body may be producing excessible stomach acid. Stomach acid is the culprit for hunger pains, as it slightly burns the stomach lining if there isn't any food to break down.
The only option I have for you is to have a Quick-Eze, or any other medication for the relief of reflux. Quick-Eze is the way to go cause they taste good - just like a starburst chew lolly!

When you are working out you are burning calories. Your body needs more calories to fuel itself in order to keep going. I would suggest snacking on some fruit or raw veggies. Make sure you eat enough protein, and carbs such as oatmeal and pasta will give you sustained energy throughout the day.Health Question & Answer
It's not in your head, it happens to me as well.
It's best to eat the right kinds of foods when that happens.
Foods high in protein, trail mix, or nuts, pb&j sandwich, legumes/beans.
