Couldn't agree more. The whole exercising for periods that long creates all kinds of cortisol craziness in the body and I think we are already producing enough stress hormones as it is.

I disagree with your claim. Professional football players have the lowest life expectancy of any professional athlete. The body wasn't made to take the collisions and violence involved in the sport.

So, if we evolved to walk and sprint every now and then, what do you think of Triathaloners.? They swim, something our bodies aren't made to do, and they bike. We invented bikes and weren't evolved to use them. How is that different.?Health Question & Answer

I do agree with what marathoners do is generally unhealthy. There is no reason ever to run 26 miles. However, running 3-4 miles a day is hardly a marathon and cannot be compared. Health Question & Answer
