most nutritionists have a 4-year bachelor degree with back grounds in physiology, biology, and execise sciences. The more you put in, the more you get out. Quickly would be nice, but its a little more in depth than become a massage therapist or barber, which require months of schooling and over 1000 hours of job training before certification. I strongly suggest you do go to college and major in biology or chemistry or both. This will give you a strong background in the sciences that will help you greatly toward your goal.
Then I would look at getting a degree as a chiropractor, naturpath, etc. But I would NOT go to a formal school for nutrition. That study will set you on a path that is not where nutrition is heading. There are schools for becoming a certified nutritional therapist that focus on real results and good solid understanding of how the body works. It also focuses on testing methods that focus in on specific nutritional deficiencies and take the guess work and confusion out of the study.
