My mother is 75 and has always been very healthy. Last night she told me she has lost 11 pounds in 4 weeks. She truly believes it is because she drinks aloe vera juice 3 times a day. That simply makes no sense to me and I am very worried. Scientifically speaking, is there any PROOF aloe vera juice can cause weight loss, other than if you OD on it and you get diarrhea.? I believe she needs to see a doctor immediately, but she never goes to a doctor. What do I do.?Health Question & Answer

at 75 she is waaay overdue to see a doctor. Aloe vera juice is personally just a marketed hype especially if she drink the asian bottle made ones. tell her to check the ingredients it's all mainly flavours preservatives and sugar it's basically like orange juice anyway,
