Is this a good workout schedule for the week?!


Question: Is this a good workout schedule for the week.?
I'm 14 and I'm trying to lose weight

Monday - Lift Weights for like 20-30 mins

Tuesday - Run on the treadmill 30 mins

Wednesday - Run on the treadmill + Lift Weights

Thursday - Run on the treadmill

Friday - Run on the treadmill + Lift Weights

Monday I don't run because on Tuesdays I run the mile for my P.E. class and I don't wanna be sore or anything. also is 30 minutes enough.? Should I up it to 1 hour.? And also I take the weekend off to rest.

Your workout schedule looks great for losing weight. HOWEVER, you should always lift weights before doing cardio so you will have enough energy to lift at your maximum potential. Running/Cardio should always be done afterwards.Health Question & Answer

I am a girl and i have like MAJOR muscles from running on the treadmil for ONE week, so i think your schedule is like more than enough. I run one mile every day and it only takes me about 15 min. DONT exhaust yourself, you'll do damage to your musclesHealth Question & Answer
