Question: Food/Calories question. Please help! Please.?
I usually don't eat that much but I exercise A LOT. For example, today I exercised for 2 1/2 hours and burned around 600 calories. I ate more than usual today, due to the fact I burned a lot more. But, I feel like I ate too unhealthily.

I always make sure I get 5 portions of fruit/veg and drink at least 2 liters a day.

My question is, How many calories do you think I should be getting per day (when I burn an extra 600 calories) - 17 year old female. 5'4 102lbs.

also, how many fat grams.?

I am really paranoid and just need an answer. I'm worried I'm gonna get fat, high cholesterol and more because of the food I ate. I know I have issues but help please.

Please don't tell me to just use a calorie calculator. I need a real person to tell me. Someone to reassure me.Health Question & Answer

You sound a little obsessed with this. As long as youre healthy, have enough energy, dont stuff yourself with fast food. Youre already getting your 5 a day, and maybe drinking too much water (though with exercising you lose more i suppose). So youre doing pretty well.
You are a very slightly low weight for your height, and certainly shouldnt worry about getting fat.
As for your exercise levels - if you are doing 2 and a half hours because its activity you love, and having a couple of days off each week, then great. However, if youre doing it to 'exercise' your food away, or to change your looks alone then its a problem, and not healthy psychologically. Ease up a bit, and get some perspective on your vanity.
More important than how we look is how we feel about ourselves. if you worked as hard on accepting yourself as you are, instead of on your diet/weight/looks, then you would be in a very good place indeed! Health Question & Answer

I would say around 2000-2400 calories a day total. Then once you exercise you can lose the 600. 2000-2400 is to keep the weight you are at. If you want to lose weight(i think your perfect for weight) then eat less. Health Question & Answer

What exactly did you eat to make yourself feel so guilty.?
I work out 2 hours a day, I am 5'2'' & 98 pounds - I eat 2 meals a day, which are roughly 700 calories each and they are full of ONLY vegetables, healthy fats & lean protein sources (excluding beans & tofu)... You should not be worried about gaining weight, you work out a lot and seem to get the healthy requirements that are needed on a daily basis... I am sorry but I cannot give you exact fat grams to consume each day, because every body's body is different and needs something else - what I can tell you though is a website, that I even belong to and adore called Caloriecount.about.com which will give you a nice estimate of how much/many calories & grams of fat you should consume daily!
