This made me chuckle a bit. You can't build a significant amount of muscle in under a week, and any weight loss you manage in that timeframe is going to be water.

To look your best, get a light tan (real or fake), exercise a moderate amount and eat the tastiest, most natural, most delicious foods you can every day so you feel great and are a glowing picture of health. Get plenty of sleep as that affects your appearance as well. Wear something that fits well and doesn't give away any unflattering bulges. Siblings and roommates are often good for a fashion-check.

A tan will make you look more fit because they look healthy and darker shades are slimming, but pantyhose that are darker than your natural leg color will also help your legs look smoother and fitter than they really are. If you go for the real tan, make sure not to overdo it. You'll see a lot of lobsters in pain at important dances--don't be one of them!

It's not a quick fix because there IS no quick fix. Starting a moderate, healthy exercise and good eating campaign now, though, will still make a visible difference and you'll be on your way to looking your most fabulous. Have fun at your dance!
