Question: Would it be safe if i take creatine at my age.?.?
I'm 15 years old and full time lfter/football player. Im looking to really put on some mass in the offseason this yearwith creatine, but im just not sure if it is safe for me at this age, i take whey casien and glutamine and i want to add creatine to the mix, what do you think.?.? thanksHealth Question & Answer

I wouldn't recommend it and I don't use it (im 16), but it won't kill you or anything. Since you're young, you can add mass very easily, whey, fish oil pills, and a multivitamin are all the supplements you need. Make sure your diet is like perfect though, get enough fat/protein/carbs and you need to be taking more calories than you burn.Health Question & Answer

Creatine is found in meat etc...as long as it's from a legitamate company, it's safe for kids of all ages. There have been no side effects noted other than dehydration...so unless you are planning on not drinking water, you will probably not experience any problems.

No you really don't need any suppliments or creatine right now. If anything you should stay natural muscle, it will really help you develop your body better. I would reccommend whey-protien. You can add lots of mass and its better for your muscles. All creatine does is give ur muscles more energy to workout harder. Yes 15 is young, if you really want to start heavily lifting you should at least wait until after your growth spurt or bloom of youth.
If you work out heavy while young it can ruin how you grow and cause some bad after affects in the future. However cardio and light to medium exercise is perfectly fine...Just watch the jogging as it can mess with your knees when older...
