I was like you before. Now I got huge muscles. You may want to take my advice.

1) First of all you want to buy 100% whey protein from Walmart, gnc, or any vitamin or nutrition store.
Your workout should be 3-5 sets of chest workout like bench press, inclines, flys, etc.

2) Next I would do 3-5 sets of bicepts.

3) also do 3-5 sets of triceps.

4) Work out your shoulders and do 3-5 sets.

5) Do 50 reps of stomach and back

6) After your workout, you want to immediately drink your protein shake.

7) Eat a well balanced diet and reduce eating junk food like chips, candy, and soda.

8) Do your workout 3 to 4 times a week.

Tip 1: Make sure you do not put really heavy weight because heavy weight will give you air pocket muscles. And if you dont work out for a week you lose that figure. what a waste of time. and even worse that could lead to serious injuries.

Tip 2: I advise you to put a weight where you can do it 12-15 repetations. The goal is to build solid muscles and be able to keep that figure even if you stop workout for a while.

some gain muscle slow
and some gain muscle VERY slow

if you're in the very slow group, that just means that you have to do more work than other to get the same results

work out at least 4 times a week,
lift heavy weights, do 4 sets per exercise and 8-10 reps per set
make sure the weight is heavy enough for you to not be able to do more than 8-10 reps

then also you have to eat alot, have to have alot of protein

Four Main Points:
1) DO NOT OVER DO IT.
I did not read into all of what he is saying, but after about 1.5-2 hrs, its pointless because you have used up all of your energy and you wont get the same results. Do only 2 or 3 body parts per day. My personal workout sets are Chest and Back one day, Legs, abs, lower back one day, biceps, triceps, shoulders one day. also in this is to make sure u give yourself enough time between workout days so as to not be sore.
2)Eat enough
I eat over 3000 calories a day, I am 19 and workout 2 hours a day for 4-5 days a week..especially if youre trying to gain weight, you need to eat a lot. Do not worry about the wrong kinda weigfht cause when ur working out that much u burn off teh bad stuff. Make sure you get at least 1g protein per pound u weigh and then some. My shakes are over 80 g protein.
3) Right number of sets/reps
For each body part I do 7 different exercises of 4 sets a piece. Set 1 is 10-15 reps, fairly easy weight, but should be almost out of energy at 15, set 2 is 8-10, set 3 and 4 are 6. Each of these should result in u not being able to do another rep at teh end of the set, then give yourself 1 minute rest between sets.
4) Work out enough.
I said before I work out 4-5 days for 2 hrs a day. Doing this, I burn a ton of calories and have gained a lot of weight. I quit working out for a long time and picked up a couple months ago(I had torn ACl for while and before that had a chest cavity infection and couldnt lift). I lost most of what I had and when I started working out again I was 155 lbs 5'10 at about 20% body fat(average). Now I am 5'10 172 lbs and about 14% body fat.
