I'm 18, will my skin snap back after weight loss?!
Question: I'm 18, will my skin snap back after weight loss.?
I'm on an exercise and diet program here at school. I gained about 50 pounds over the past three years, and I'm looking to take off about 70. During this time I got a lot of stretch marks ALL OVER my stomach and sides, it's nauseating. I'm wondering if I lose the weight healthily and drink lots of water if my skin will tighten up.?
Or will I have to have surgical skin reduction.?Health Question & Answer

Since you are still young all hope is not lost. Your skin should snap back into place almost completely IF you exercise. Exercise greatly increases your chances of having healthy looking skin again. The stretch marks won't go away but they will fade and you will barely notice them. WARNING!! Don't wait till you get older to lose weight because the older you are the less elastic your skin will be.Health Question & Answer
Targetted weight reduction is quite difficult, many people would say impossible, but I worked off 3 inches from my waistline by following the instruction on the site in the box below. Give it a try, their advice is very sensible!Health Question & Answer
No ,no,no don't get surgery, all it is your body trying to adapt to the sudden weight loss, you could also do some crunches or push ups to tighten the area up,your choice
