Can i loose weight if i dont get enough sleep?!


Question: Can i loose weight if i dont get enough sleep.?
i work from 10 at night to 6 in the morning then head out to another job at 7 and get off at 3 then arrive home at 3:40 and wake up at 7 or 8 then hit the gym for an hour 30 minutes of weight lift and 30 minutes of cardio. basically i get like 3 to 4 hours of sleep can i still loose weight, and is it healthy to do so or should i not work out at all because it is a risk i can handle being awake as i am only 21 dont drink and dont smoke or party just work family gym.Health Question & Answer

Good lawd you need more sleep. And yes you can still lose weight. I dont get enough sleep cos im always up studying and doing midterms and finals and AAAAHHH and i still lose weight by doing cardio so don't worry if thats what you want to do. if you dont want to lose weight then dont work out. Sleeping doesnt really have anything to do with weight loss...I've actually heard it has more to do with muscle loss because of a certain state your body goes into if you arent getting enough protein as it is.Health Question & Answer

You may still lose weight but your body is sleep deprived. Find more time for sleep, at least 7 hours. This is how your body repairs itself from stress, infection, etc. Health Question & Answer
