Question: How to be at 140 lbs before November 10th.?
I work out 6 days a week. I go on the treadmill for 10min,
Go on the bike for 20 min
Lift weights 20 min
work on my abs for 10 min

Will I achieve my goal before November 10th. Thats when My aunt is coming home.

I would either do the elliptical or more treadmill (at least 20 min) so that you will burn more calories to ensure you will lose those 10 lbs.

Well this depends. Ultimately this is a task of self-control and motivation yet certain factors are VERY important. This includes what is your current weight, height, boy fat %, sex, age, etc. Loosing weight is easier for certain people in different times of their life. There are various online programs that can HELP you reach your goal by keeping track of progress/give you advice yet the only way to loose weight is by creating what I call an input/output imbalance. By this, you need to put out more work (exercise) than what your taking in (your diet).

It seems to me your focusing on certain workouts in the gym but you can definitely achieve the same work from other (fun) activities. Again, you wan energy out > energy in. I find weight lifting to burn a lot of calories due to the nature of putting large amounts of mechanical stress on muscles/bones. also, i want to add that by working certain parts of the body does not necessarily mean you will loose weight in that specific area. Men tend to loose weight in their belly area while women can vary from various areas such as hip area/breasts.

Bottom line, do your best to create this imbalance while having fun because in the long run, you'll probably keep on staying active and healthy even after you aunt visits. Health Question & Answer
