i want to lose about 8 pounds in a month - month & a half
i walk about a mile & a half - 2miles everyday.
im going to start running a mile 5 days a week
i do 100 situps 5-6 days a week
i eat a piece of whole grain toast with about 5 strawberries. for breakfast
i eat a salad for lunch
i eat a salad with chicken for dinner
for a snack, ill have a hundred calorie pack of something
is this good.? what can i do to improve.?

The diet part of the plan is nice and simple. But your physical training is completely off. Running doesn't get you fit. I used to run 8miles a day when I was in the military. I am now more fit then I was then. You should do sprint intervals. also the situps is not that great either. I would do some sort of dancing or yoga. You can definitely meet your go in a month or so. The pattern for losing those excess pounds is not difficult - consume less food and exercise more - the problems appear when we really try to put that into operation!
