You would be fine just eating 1 gram per LEAN body mass every day. The days you don't lift is actually the days you need the protein the most as that is when your body is rebuilding the tearing that happens when lifting, and in doing so, rebuilds the muscle stronger Health Question & Answer

if your trying to get bigger
dont ******* do cardio
that will just make you stronger but you wont get big at all or even gain any muscle mass
sit on your *** all day and engorge yourself in protein
