So since it is almost inevitable, how do we make the most out of a fast food meal without putting on the pounds.?

This now makes it much easier for you to make a better decision of what you can and should order when on the run. Something to think about when ordering food is to be aware of the number of calories that are in salad dressings, cheese and sour cream.

Although you may be thinking you are eating healthy while ordering a salad, you actually may not be because of the calories from those small additions. When you order a grilled chicken sandwich, order it without the mayonnaise. Restaurants have become much more conscious of menu alternatives like salads with low calorie or fat free dressings.

i think you can go anywhere just depends on what food u get if you go to mcdonalds you can get a salad.they have nice varieties of them.
or you can get their yogurt,tastes wonderful,and has 130 calories =]
you can also go to wendeys and get chicken,chicken is always good for you,as long as it is grilled and not fried/crispy.or you can go to souplantation.get some soup,nice and cheap,good for you because it involves veggies,and is extremely low in calories. =] you can go out to eat wherever u want,just as long as you pick the right,healthy foods.Health Question & Answer

subway is the first thing that coems to mind ... a six-inch whole wheat or a wrap shouldn't kill you on carbs ... just don't get the fatty dressings put on it ... you can also get their grilled chicken salad or turkey or chef salad ...

there are places like soup'r salad and sweet tomatoes that have HUGE salad bars and you can eat there or get carry out ...

whatever you get, focus on lean meats and lots of veggies ... and always skip that 150 to 400 calories of mayo-based dressing ...

you can always count it as a healthier meal if you take out the mayo, thick salad dressing (a little balsamic vinegar is fine), and sugar-laden sauces ...Health Question & Answer
