Why am I not losing more?!

Question: Why am I not losing more.?
Hey, I am 18 years old (Male) and have started to lose weight (as I realized I was getting on the big side)
So at the beginning of September i was 16/half Stone.
I greatly reduced the amount I ate as well as eating more healthily and cycled at least 1-2 hours everyday.
By the beginning of October I was 15 Stone! I lost 1/half stone.
Now I thought that with how well I did that I should Cycle more, I even started to work out in my house (press-ups n sit-ups etc) I continued to eat healthily.
Now I weighed my self earlier only to find that I still weigh the same!
Whats going on.?
also how can I get rid of my podgy belly!Health Question & Answer

You will want to focus on aerobic workout activities. Doing anaerobic exercises will convert the fat into muscle. Aerobic activities will burn fat into active energy to establish tone more than it will build muscle mass.

I found that jogging for endurance (15 to 30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week) was the best solution to both toning up the abs and losing weight. I've also noticed that after a while (once it became habit for me to run every day) it conditioned my body's metabolism to burn calories at a higher rate. So I was eventually able to eat anything and everything I wanted without worrying about gaining weight.

But I also understand that not everyone's the same. Distance jogging was the solution for me. Give it a shot, it might work for you. And as with any and all workout routines, you should pair and tailor them to your own fitness and build gradually on it.
Discipline is everything. You will have to keep yourself motivated. Lucky for me, I'm easily entertained, so just watching the scenery of daily life as I jogged through the streets was enough to keep me distracted and entertained throughout my workout sessions =)Health Question & Answer

weight loss is simple, burn more calories than you take in. your body uses a certain amount of calories for normal bodily functions, so you need to burn the rest of the calories and more to burn the excess fat you already have. try weight watchers it works for me. good luck.Health Question & Answer

Yeah the body tends to do that. One of the best ways to shift weight is by doing Interval Training. 45 minutes at least three time a week using interval training will shed that stubborn weight.
