physical in 2 weeks. this is the only amount of time i have, and i NEED to pass. i am about 10 pounds overweight, and i need to get down just 10 pounds. i say i need to lose 12 and not 10 so that i have 2 extra pounds for "fluctuation room." help! i am NOT anorexic. i believe in a healthy diet. i just need to do this for 2 weeks. will eating nothing but water, vitamins, juice, and an occasion vegetable/fruit work.?Health Question & Answer

You should be okay, but I would base any snacks that you have on protein, or else you will be passing out when you go for the physical.

I wouldn't try starving yourself, but maybe trying to lose water weight before you go in. There are plenty of websites that will tell you how to do this online if you just look. Starving yourself won't cause you to lose twelve pounds in a week and a half, so I'd really try going the water weight road if you just need it to be on a weight scale and not fat/muscle on your body.
