Hi, Giselle, the best advice I can give you is to lose the weight five pounds at a time. Don't think about having to lose so much--just keep setting new goals every five pounds. In addition, don't weigh more than once a week. Your body will go through too many fluctuations on a daily basis that you have no control over and you will just get discouraged. So, weigh once a week, at the same approximate time, wearing the same approximate thing.

There's two ways you could go and I think either way will work for you. First of all, my best suggestion is to learn to eat healthy.

That means understand the food pyramid, the food groups, the recommended servings, etc. That is how you should eat for life! If you eat that way and have 3 small, healthy meals a day and 2 small, healthy snacks, you will lose weight. Each meal should be less than 400 calories and each snack should be about 100-150 calories. Eating highly nutritious foods is the key, so think in terms of lean protein, veggies, whole-grains, fruits, low-fat dairy, and heart-healthy oils.

The second option is to do a short-term "drastic diet" that is designed to last for 2 weeks max. This would take off the most weight rapidly. There are several on the site under "Diet Plans" but my favorite is the 5-4-3-2-1 diet.

You get to pick what you eat, but you're going to want to pick highly nutritious foods to keep your metabolism working efficiently. If there isn't some DRAMATIC issue with your eating habits, you need to see a doctor. There are many medical issues that can cause weight gain like PCOS, or reactions to other medications you are on.

Even if none of these are the culprit, losing weight fast can leave other negative side effects such as defficiencies, muscle loss, permanant metabolism slow down, excess skin etc.

To lose so much weight safely, you need to have it properly monitored by a health care professional.

First off. get off this computer of yours.. next only eat when you are truly hungry drink a glass of water before your meals trust me it works then come back in 20 minutes to see if your actually hungry then, if you are eat a salad or some fruit or somthing i know you might not like the taste but eventually you will.. then talk to your mom or dad.. tell them that you are serious about wanting to get in shape and that you would want them not to buy any junkfood that way you have none to eat.. then get out there and run... even if you cant. run and gradually get faster and longer distances its important to run at least 4 days a week.. to get rid of that fat.. building around your stoumach.. i would do plenty of cruches and situps be consistant and you should see a difference drink plenty and plenty of water dont go by weight.. i would definitly measure your waist and keep track from there also measure your hips... if your an adult.. then dont buy the junk food and maybe try weightwatchers because i know people who are very sucsessful with it. but thats alot of the advice that i have and i wish you lots and lots of good luck

Well try eating very consciously and slowly. Eating slowly makes you pay more attention to how full you are getting pay very close attention to it then when you start to fell full stop DO NOT STUFF YOURSELF its very important! also try eating only 3 meals a day and limiting yourself to one snack a day.
