How can I shrink my appetite? I think I have an eating disorder.?!


Question: How can I shrink my appetite.? I think I have an eating disorder..?
I get these incredible, uncontrollable hunger urges and I eat everything around. It's really bad, I can eat a whole large pizza and then I'm hungry not even a hour later and I'll go searching for more to eat. I can easily eat 4-5 dinners in one night.

I usually have a yogurt or something light for breakfast, I have a medium size lunch and a big dinner. But I always get these uncontrollable hunger urges at night time. I try to eat healthy and monitor what I eat and I can usually do good until night. I become soo hungry and I have to eat something, then I become hungry again very soon after and I'll usually eat until I'v had about 3-5 meals worth... this is all between 9pm - midnight. I wouldn't worry about it but and I'm starting to gain weight. I used to run track in highschool and it kind of equaled everything out. But now i'm in college and I don't play sports anymore. I still run 3-4 times a week around 2-4 miles each time but it doesn't seem to do anything.

i think it is because you dont eat full meals during the morning and mid-day. try to eat a full meal with protein, carbohydrates, and fruit and then a lunch with similar traits such as protein, veggies, a snack, etc. and then see how hungry you are at dinner. this will hopefully help you. good luck and let me kno how it goes!Health Question & Answer

When I get like that I look at recipes and make up menus. I drink water, or tea. It sounds like you are active, so I wouldn't worry too much unless your weight gain is over 10 pounds. also it depends on how thin you are. Maybe your body wants to fill out some. Maybe you need more fiber, as it is filling. So make yourself some oatmeal for a snack, or bran muffins, fruit and veg. like raw carrots. Drink a glass of skim milk. A few almonds will fill you up. Might be just stress that is making your stomach feel like it needs some comfort food. Try breathing slowly through your nose expanding your stomach and breathing out through your nose. ok first of all u look cute, dont worry so much. for guys, its not so much the amount of food (unless they have no muscle or dont exercise) but when and generally what u eat is important. you're metabolism needs a big meal in the morning - no more than an hour after u wake up or it wont burn properly for the whole day. if u swap this around u'll find ur not as hungry at night. its too much stress on ur body to take in all that food at night when its meant to be slowing down so u can sleep.
