Can anyone help me.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
You have calcium requirements, not milk.

Milk has too much saturated fat, believe it or not.

Look for calcium amounts in energy bars, or fruit.Health Question & Answer

I don't know what diet analysis you used, but the USDA Food Pyramid does include cream cheese and skim milk powder as dairy products. All cheese is dairy and contains calcium. Powdered milk is milk with the water removed. The calcium remains in the powder.

If you are concerned about getting enough calcium, have you considered taking a daily calcium supplement when you are hiking.?Health Question & Answer

Stay away from dairy. You can get calcuim from eating fruits and veggies. Dairy can actually cause osteoporosis.

You don't have to believe me, but it is true that America, Canada and Sweden are some of the only countries in the world that drink milk after being breastfed. AND we have the highest percentage of osteoporosis.

don't worry about it. unless you hike everyday and would not get any milk it's no big thing. missing a day or two a week will not make any difference-milk is for calcium and vit D so you could take a pill-there are lots of good ones out there-
Citracal + D is an excellent choice.Health Question & Answer

Well maybe you can just get away with calcium supplimentsHealth Question & Answer
