Why the heck do i never gain weight?!


Question: Why the heck do i never gain weight.?
I am 5'4 and i only weigh freaking 97 pounds. I eat ALL the time. I am NOT bolemic or whatever you call it, i like eating my food and keeping it down, thank you. But i don't know why i never gain weight...any suggestions of what a healthy weight is and why i never gain anything no matter what i eat or do.?Health Question & Answer

Those numbers say nothing to me, as I think in SI. But I think I can help.
You should get over it. Thinness has a lot of causes, from birth or from your surroundings.
To me, it sounds like you got this from birth. Some people are just skinny, end of story. Their bodies burn up the energy before it can be stored as fat. There's nothing really wrong with it.
In this case, I think your weight is fine. If, however, people try to achieve weights like this while their bodies have a normal body weight, then it becomes unhealthy.

you should be eating 1500 calories every day of nutritional food.

to gain GOOD weight that is. if you are over 13, start lifting weights. this will insure the food will lead to good weight. (muscle not fat)

you're not that far away from a good weight for your height. 115 or so. its difficult to say without knowing your body shape.

im 5'4 and 153 lol... fatty... anyways.. you have a very fast motabolism.. be happy about that... i have a thyroid disorder that causes my weight to change all the time. it will slow down in time and you will start to gain weight.Health Question & Answer

Instead of shooting to gain fat, work on gaining muscle. That will give you some more weight. Eat lots of protein rich foods and do lots of strength training exercises. Health Question & Answer
