How can you burn so many calories?!?!

Question: How can you burn so many calories.?!.?
So I was reading an article about losing weight and it said you had to burn all the calories that you take in a day. I understand people CAN do this, it just seems that even cutting back on my calorie intake already, that there is no way I could burn that all back off in one day, I only have two hours to work all of those off everyday... So my question is.. Do you really have to burn off all the calories you take in....? Or do you just have to burn off calories.?Health Question & Answer

When trying to loose weight you need to exercise, but throughout the day you are burning calories that you might not even know about. also, lifting is important because muscle constantly burns calories, while cardio burns calories only for an hour after exercising (not saying you shouldn't do cardio, still do that.) Anyways the answer is... no you don't need to burn off the exact amount of calories you eat when exercising. And if you are exercising at least 3 times a week, along with your daily routine, and eating healthy, then you are burning off the calories you've eaten. Hope that helps!!! :)Health Question & Answer

workout alot push ups pull ups ab workouts and eat plenty of calories but eat good food (olive oil instead of butter etc.) and you will be happy.

if you go on a low calorie diet you will be too skinny, unhappy, unhealthy, and guys will not be attracted to you. (guys hate twigs)

go running if you want to do more and eat alot for that too. if you do run do light weight squats or bike riding as well so you don't break down and blow out your knees. (running loosens knees and makes them weak, biking and squats strengthen the quad muscles so your knees will be more firm and less vulnerable to injury).Health Question & Answer

NO, thats what i thought. i drove myself crazy and its one of the reasons i quit so much and starved.

Lets say you eat 2000 calories a day. To burn off a pound of fat, you would change your calories to say 1500. then you do exercise daily that burns another 500. so thats taking off 1000 calories a day. so instead of keeping the 2000 for nothing, you burned off 1000.

it takes 3500 calories to burn a pound of fat. so 1000 calories that u burn in a day, times 7, is 7000, which means you would lose 2 pounds a week.Health Question & Answer

I don't think you have to burn of *all* the calories that you take in. I do know that cleaning the house and moving around furniture are great ways of burning off calories fast. I re-arrange my bedroom at least once a month and my arms are in great shape. Health Question & Answer

I don't think it's a good idea to go into a calorie deficit...I mean, your body needs a certain amount of calories just to function properly.Health Question & Answer
