Question: What are some healthy foods to consider when on a diet.?
I am 15 years old and I am trying to lose 15 pounds to look good in my under amour. I am now on a diet and haven't been seing results. How do I lose the 15 pounds. And what are some healthy foods that I should eat on my diet. Snacks.? Drinks.? Etc.Health Question & Answer

the key is to have a healthy liver (i should know, my almost failed, and it was impossible for me to lose weight)

omelettes or some kind of eggs are an awesome breakfast, plus they keep you more full longer, especially if you put some declicious meat/veggies/cheese in the omelette

almonds are good for a mid-afternoon snack (just a handful though, they have necessary fats, but they do have fat!)

peppermint tea -- helps with digestion

fruit smoothies--mmmmmm, and lots of fiber!

DON'T EAT AFTER 7!! people will tell you the eating-late-gain-weight is a myth, but it's not
1) you eat more than you should cause it's a night and you're usually snacking a lot
2) you're just adding to you're total calorie intake for the day
3) it screws up your liver's cycle to clean itself out, thereby making it harder for your body to break down fat

so drink tea if you feel the urge to snack at 10, and try to go to bed asap :)

Tea and water, just get rid of sodas and all that other junk, oh and lemon juice is good for your liver too


the key is to allow yourself one meal a week where you can eat whatever you want. doing this won't hurt your diet efforts, and it will keep you from binging because you know you have that meal where you can have whatever you wantHealth Question & Answer

Try eating lots of celery. no peanut butter on it.
