Question: Does doing weights when you 12 stun your growth if it does what kinds.?
i am thinking of starting to do weights and i was wondering if it stuns your growth and if it does what kind of weights do not affect your growth.Health Question & Answer

no it doesnt. lifting weights at an early age will not stunt your growth, contrary to popular belief. at age 12 your body will not be able to lift the amount of weight that is needed to weaken your growth hormones. However, do make sure that you are lifting moderately and not trying to go all out. Though it may not stunt your growth, you can severely damage your developing muscles which will eventually become weaker than they should be.Health Question & Answer
