im a 21 year old girl. i have put on weight these days. i am 5 feet 4 inches and my weight is 57kg. i want to reduce my tummy in 10 days.. since we have a get to together and i dont wanna look fat in the indian traditional outfit- saree. im not looking for a crash course in ten days but please suggest some exercises which will reduce the tummy partially if not completelyHealth Question & Answer

You definitely need to understand from the get-go that quick weight loss is nearly impossible, and most likely if someone is promising this to you, it's probably unhealthy. The best way to lose weight and keep it off is to slowly lose 1-2 pounds per week with a healthy balance of intake vs. output.
That being said, if you have a last-minute type of situation where you would like your tummy to be a little tighter for a particular occasion, there are a couple of things you can do to help this. One thing is to avoid caffeiene, sodas, energy drinks, and sugary juices. It's best to just stick to water. Avoid salty foods (chips, canned soups, TV dinners, crackers, processed foods), since they tend to make you bloat, because you retain water easier.
Another thing to stay away from are carbs such as breads, potatoes, and other starchy foods. also stock up on tons of veggies and make sure you have snacks that are healthy, and not 'carby' so you don't work hard just to sabotage yourself the minute you get hungry for a snack. I would suggest apples, carrot sticks, sugar snap peas, grapes, skim milk, stuff like that. You can also pre-make salads for yourself in those cheap Ziplock containers, and bring the dressing separately. Then you don't have an excuse not to eat a salad instead of buying something like cookies out of the vending machine.
Of course, you want to hit the cardio pretty hard as well. What I would focus on myself would be abs/back. But don't kill yourself just to try to look good - you want to be awake by the time this event rolls around!

Well, 10 Days. I Think this is quite imposable, but other people may believe you can. The only way to reduce body fat in As little as 10 Days is. Cut down on fizzy pop and drink water only, and only eat 2 things at meal times, e.g. chicken and new potatoes.

eliminate carbs from your diet. that means so bread, fruit, pasta, sugar, etc. eat only meat (or tofu if you're veggie) and veggies. it works, but i must warn you, it doesn't give you any energy to exercise.

- i suggest u cut down on fatty foods and drink 2L of water everyday ( i know may look bloated but on your final day u wont be drinking dat much so u will look normal)
