Side effects of fast weight loss? ?!

Question: Side effects of fast weight loss.? .?
Hi

I have to loss about 30 lbs really fast. I am on a crazy and unsafe diet that i refuse to share with anyone because I don't want anyone to damage their body as I probbaly am.
Can someone please tell me the side effects of losing weight fast.?
also what side effects are permenant.?
How can I still lose weight without harming myself.?

I have been on my diet for 2 weeks and I have lost 10 lbs. I plan to be on it for another 4 weeks so I can reach my goal. After that i will then begin to eat low fat, low calorie, heatly foods and then do exercies to keep from gaining weight back.

My life is important but I canot be over weight any longer. Doing it slowly makes me become inpatient. I also don't see the results so I usually give up. I don't want to spend 6 months to a year trying to lose what i have found that i can lose in 6 weeks.Health Question & Answer

One of the side effects of fast weight loss is rapid weight gain after the diet ends.

If you try and lose weight too quickly, the majority of the weight you drop will be water weight. This might sound like a good idea, but it can lead to rapid dehydration. Attempting to lose weight too fast can lead to severe diarrhea, sometimes followed by constipation. Diarrhea over an extended period of time can lead to dehydration, which can even become life-threatening. This is especially true if you are fasting for long periods of time or using detoxification diets to lose weight. If you fast or eat too little in an attempt to lose weight too quickly, you'll find that you're sleepy for a large portion of the day and exercise will be out of the question. Crash diets and fasting are dangerous because they not only restrict fats and carbs, but they also prevent your body from taking sustenance from vitamins and minerals.

All in all, you may be losing weight now, but you'll just gain it back and more when you are finished with this "program" and you'll be less healthy to boot.Health Question & Answer

the faster you lose the weight the more likely it will be to gain it back and then extra weight on top of that. Losing weight and keeping it off is a way of life not just because you have a trip coming up or a hot date. plus, you are tearing your body up by making it fluctuate that much in just a short amount of time. I do not recommend that you do it but if you do make sure that you do your research on the "diet" that you are doing.Health Question & Answer

one side affect i know is that you can gain all that weight back simply because your body is so use to the way it use to eat, that it is in a shock. it will expect you to give you some food and most likely you will and boom, you are back in square one.

no quite sure why you are asking this question, cuz you seem to have your mind set on what you want to do. so whatever. Health Question & Answer

Short term results:

are that your brain becomes depleated. Symptoms such as Memory loss, becoming frusterated or angry easier, depression, VERY BAD headaches! I am telling you the short term because my dumb *** did the same thing in highschool. Ever since I have had Migrain headaches. I lost the weight, but was too miserable to enjoy the short lasting leaness. Trust me, don't do it!!! It's not the long term that is bad, it is much more the short term effects!!!!!Health Question & Answer

Basically you'll gain it back fast.Health Question & Answer

I don't know much about side effect of losing that much weight that fast but I do know that you have to be doing something dramatic to have a loss of that magintude. So in order to keep that weight loss that low for a long period of time ( which i think that what you going for) you have to keep up that dramatic lifestyle to maintain the weight you have.

In other words in a fast weight loss like that its going to be that much harder to keep the weight off once you get off that dangerous diet.

6 months after you finish the diet you will be baack in the same boat looking for a quick fix. Now if you do it slow and build muscle at the same time then it will be easier to keep the fat off since your muscle will be burning fat round the clock.

I truly understand where you are coming from. And you are right about the dangers of losing weight fast. By losing weight fast I can tell you that all that weight will come back double once you stop that "diet". I know like anyone about being so impatient about taking things slow over a 6 to 12 month period. But that is the way to go. I have no idea of the permanent side effects. The only way to lose weight without harming yourself is to:
1. Start with your diet. This is a total life change of the way you eat and prepare your food. It's not always what you eat but how much of it you eat. I found something that gave the formula to figure out your personal caloric intake. Once you figure that out...eat less calories than that.

(I have to find the resource again...e-mail me if your interested.)

2. Exercise at least 1 hour 4 days out of the week. Aerobic exercise and strength training.

3. cleanse your body of impurities.

I started number one and two weighing 272lbs. Then I got pregnant (weighing 266lbs) which put a halt to my weight lose goals. I gave birth to a healthy boy this past Feb. (weighing 270lbs) and I got back on track. By May I weighed 266lbs. Then I found a cleansing tea which I started taking in July. I am now at 250lbs. When I began I was wearing a size 22....I can now fit a 18/20 with no problem. The weight is coming off slowly...but it's staying off. And that is what we want.

So when your ready...that is what you do. This is where I get my tea. http://www.iasotea.com/pure

My IM is aiysha_19

P.S. I should mention that I gave up several times between that. So if I had kept up with the cleansing and exercise...I might have lost a bit more by now. I always try to watch what I eat. That's something you have to train yourself to do. It's not going to happen overnight if your doing it safely.Health Question & Answer

You need a CHANGE in your way of losing weight. I have been through all this just like you so here is my advice:

Belive it or not, all seems to be false about those dieting/exercising things. From my experience, we need to try different approach as I have been on diet for years before and see minimal results. We need to get the poison out of our body.

I know those are really tricky but read some articles and you'll get more ideals on those topics. Recently I read this book and it is changing my life:
