Why have I been going #2 more?!


Question: Why have I been going #2 more.?
I've been eating much more healthfully and exercising more. I've noticed I've been going number 2 a lot more as well. I used to average 4-5 times a week and now I feel like I've been going every day. So is this a good sign.? Any chance I'm getting rid of excess fat this way.? I'm trying to loose a little weight. Health Question & Answer

It means you're eating a lot of fiber and pushing that food through your system more efficiently.
Most people who don't eat enough fiber get all sorts of digestive problems.

Believe me, it's a VERY good thing that you're going #2 all the time. It keeps that food from sitting in your intestines and potentially causing bowel cancer, etc.
It helps with weight-loss because a portion of people's weight is actually what's sitting in their bowels! Gross, right.?

Keep on going! It's healthy for an adult to move their bowels once or twice a day, so you are the picture of bowel health, my friend.

If you are eating more healthy, then that could contribute to this. If you have been eating more fiber, whole grains, dark greens, then that would definitely be why you are going more often.

I would have to know more info to know whether or not you are burning fat. Your body can use either carbohydrates or stored fat as energy. Fat is usually its last option. If you are incorporating exercise with core breathing, then you are likely burning fat.

It is hard to say whether of not this is a good sign. If you feel like it is easier to go, now, and you are not straining, then it is definitely a good sign. If you feel pretty much the same, then I wouldn't get to excited.
