Music is a great thing, when you go to sleep at night, and while you work out (I love Rocky soundtrack and classic rock to get me pumped), working out with a friend promotes some healthy competition and motivation, track your progress over time to visibly see how well you are coming along, surround yourself with positive people who you will look up to and encourage you to keep moving forward, set reasonable short and long term goals to keep you looking ahead and not behind, and lastly, might sound lame, but every morning when I wake up, I read an inspirational quote, many websites out there with them. listen to the song "Good Time" by Alan Jackson. it has a good beat to pump to ( well, im a girl so i lunge to it. i also cut out pics of beautiful women i want to be like and stick them where i can see them while im working out. you should do that and pretend they are watching you LOL)Health Question & Answer

For most people it's one simple item - a mirror.

Another one is realizing you're out of shape.

But only do what makes you comfortable with yourself.

Be safe.

Good luck.
