Question: Fitness question: when you work out.?
How many of each "thing" (crunch, leg lift...etc) do you do.?
How much and how far and how much time...do you do when you run.?

What do you do to tone your abs, arms, and your legs.?
What are some rituals you have when you work out.?
What does your work out consist of. How much do you work out

And what do you do for your stretches...do you stretch.? How long.?

Answers:
1- for the leg lifts and rump tucks, I use my Bow Flex, it does it all, and it really works you out..

2- I run 2 miles in am and 2 miles at pm run, with my dogs, they always go with me.....to add for the past month due to ankle have not run or walked, till today.....gotta get back on the road

3- abs, arms and legs, Bow flex again, it has it all to tone this all up.

4- rituals, I first strech, and I mean stretch, I stretch to floor, palms flat on floor between my legs, then all the way back behind legs, and then forward, this I do 25 times...for full stretch to warm up.

5- work out, here we go

a. stretches
b- run am
c- back to stair stepper, for 30 mins
d- bow flex, 1 hr to do all my exercises for abs, arms, buttock, legs, tummy cruches.
e- cool down on treadmill
f- hot shower, then turn every 2 mins till is Ice Cold shower to tone the skin back up and the cold keeps it firmed and toned up
This I do 2 times a day fully......and its every day...2 times a day

If I am really busy on a work deadline, then I will do only once a day.

but try to stay true and work it 2 times a day.

your worn out, but it pays off, and you get so use to it, it becomes pure habit.

This routine I do 5 days a week:
On the treadmill I run 4 minutes, walk 2, run 4, walk 2, run 4, walk 2, run 5, walk 2 for a total of 25 minutes.(i used to run full out for 2.5 miles but i read that this way is a better cardio workout and turns out it is easier AND makes me feel like i just got as good a workout)

I do 30 regular crunches, 30 crossover crunches on each side, and 30 leg lift crunches to work my lower abs.

Then i alternate between three 10 minute Pilate routines from a DVD I have: Sculpting (for arms), Buns and Thighs, and Flexibility

I stretch before I run. I stand and touch my toes and roll up my back a few times, I do the sitting butterfly stretch and I do a straddle stretch. I mostly try to stretch my back and legs. The pilate routines have stretching built in though.

Pilates is great because it stretches and strengthens at the same time. I have only done amateur stuff but i would recommend getting a DVD to try it.

I do 2 sets of 15 on the following:

ab cruncher
shoulder press
chest press
leg press
rowing machine

I also do about an hour of cardio, mostly treadmill.
