Question: 12 year old working his body..?
yes i am 12(almost 13) and i started doing sit ups and crunches and its really worked my abs and gave me a toned stomach i wanted to know if theirs any other good ab work outs and if all this working out could be bad.? and in class when i sit i tend to slouch i lot less now and i can focus better could this be why.?Health Question & Answer


Answers:
yeah exercise wakes your body up and produces hormones that make you feel more happy. i'd stick with the exercises you're doing, maybe include running and skipping or other stuff like that. don't do weights though! it will stunt your growth so you wont grow to your full height or size. don't do any hard exercise like that until you're at least 16, then go to a gym and talk about it with a trainer who knows about this stuff.
but like i said, what you're doing now is probably all you should be doing at your age, considering you're only starting to grow.Health Question & Answer
