Hey MR. I don't think the other people here quite understand, but I might. First off, I don't give Ana-Mia advice, but I'll assume that your weight is healthy for your height. I'm skinny too and want to stay that way, but starving isn't the way to do it. You know that or you wouldn't ask the question that way.
If you're body is in starvation mode, you need to re-train your body to expect to be fed regularly and often. I'm 125 and consume at least 2,000 calories a day. I snack a lot and eat three meals a day. I've trained my body to expect food all the time, so it has no reason to slow down. Eat healthy food and avoid junk food. Stay away from diet drinks. They trick your body, but your body learns the trick and slows down the metabolism. That's why so many people who drink diet soda actually GAIN weight. also, stay away from high fructose corn syrup. They just turn to fat.
That should be a good start to get your body back towards a more normal metabolism.Health Question & Answer

The only way is to put on more muscle, and for that, you have to eat more. Start slowly. Rest a lot, and allow a little bit of weight gain, like 5 pounds or so. Lift heavy.Health Question & Answer
