Weight-loss and vitamins?!
Question: Weight-loss and vitamins.?
I am on a fairly structured weight loss regimen. My dietary requirements are pretty much full of vitamin filled foods - i.e. fruits and vegetables at every meal with some form of protein like chicken, turkey, fish or pork. Is it necessary to to supplement with a vitamin pill daily.? If so, what is recommended.? A multivitamin or something targeted more toward my age, gender and health status. Health Question & Answer

It might not be necessary to take a multi vitamin but I take one as an insurance policy. It sounds like your diet is well rounded but it still couldn't hurt to take a basic multi vitamin just to make sure you have all your bases covered. I wouldn't really be concerned with all the specialty vitamins because there is really no reason or benefit and the cost is going to be double. I would recommend taking a good basic vitamin that has 100% of all the vitamins and minerals. Hope that helps!
