try filling up on fruits and vegetables first, then have a cookie if you still really want one.

you could make a smoothie, have celery with peanutbutter, make a pb&j sandwich, have some apple slices, have carrots and dressing, have some grapes..

there are these yummy things that i make that are really easy and sooo good.. first, mix equal parts salsa and cream cheese together with a mixer, then spread that on a tortilla, then layer on some lettuce, chopped up tomatoe, maybe some avacado, and some sliced turkey, roll the tortilla up and cut it up into little rolls and put toothpicks in them to keep them together.. if you make a lot of these, you can just keep them in the refridgerater and have a couple when ever youre hungry, theyre healthy and very yummy :]


also, try bringing some stuff with you to school and snack on it in between classes or on your way home, that way youre not so hungry when you get home and you wont be as temped to chow down

it depends on what you like. What kind of stuff do you like.?
i eat yogurt. Like you can get Yo-plait Lite Lime yogurt and put walnuts in it so that it fills you up. Or you can get Planters Trail mix the one with the fruit mixture in it, i think it has the pineapple and papaya and nuts in it. It has the turquoise across the bag. You will see it. The key is to get snacks that are high in fiber that will fill you up and that taste great too and that have nutrition. That is the key. Stay away from stuff that has chocolate. Although it is ok to have every now and then, it is not good to eat every day. Apples are a great snack too and eat some peanut butter with them. I drink that Mott's apple juice with 50% less sugar and it is the bomb. I think once you get into the habit of buying everything lite or 50% less sugar or fat free you are not going to want regular stuff any more. It just doesn't taste the same. You find yourself really not wanting it anymore

Buy some apples and bananas and cut them up in a bowl... or any kind of fruit from mangos to kiwis. I would also suggest buy some low fat peanut butter and some regular then you can have peanut butter toast and spread half and half so you don't taste the nasty half fat kind. Wheat chex are always good to munch on too...Health Question & Answer
