Yes its pretty much the same. Speaking from personal experiance, i done it once and wen i went back to my doctor he said it was fine. It jst starts to dissolve more quickly. He said although its more effecient to take it in the capsule it will work the same jst swallwing the powder. But ALWAYS do it with a drink. and not milk. . . milk may dissolve the powder before it gets down tha tracea. . my advice is take it ith water. Health Question & Answer

I understand it may have Cayenne pepper in it which might explain the burning sensation. If you can't take gelatin for religious reasons, wouldn't you still be "taking it" if you opened it and mixed it with water.?
It is also loaded with caffeine (I heard as much as in 6 or more cans of Red Bull), so you might have trouble sleeping.Health Question & Answer

You must NOT open a capsule.

You should take the medicine as it is. Ignore your regilion. Believe in the Doctor, not the God.Health Question & Answer

yeh you can't do that because the capsule helps it to work gradually. lots of old people get ill from halving tablets and letting the powder out. sorry.Health Question & Answer

you shouldn't ever open up anything and take it. The capsule part helps to keep the medication from coming out until the right moment of digestion. Health Question & Answer

its almost the same but it won't be released slowly like it would be in a capsule. It probably won't make much of a differenceHealth Question & Answer
