breakfast - muller light yogurt , apple
(135 cals)
lunch- mushroom risotto soup
snack a jacks
small chocolate bar
( 575 cals)

snack- something for 300 cals

Dinner - main meal - 300 cals
normally bean stew or soup and roll .....
small chocolate bar ( 200 cals)
low fat yogurt ( 100 cals)

TOTAL- 1600 cals

It does sound good as long as you incorperate fruit into the diet as one of the snacks or something, even though you are being calorie restrictive, you need a balanced diet.

Here is a a balanced 1600 calorie diet sample from a dietition.

1600 Calorie Diet Sample Plan
Daily allowance (100 cals)
275ml/1/2pt skimmed milk

Breakfast (350 cals)
Boiled egg and toast with fruit
1 hard boiled egg with 2 slices wholemeal toast topped with 2tsp low-fat spread. Plus 1 small glass of orange juice and 6 grapes.

Lunch (450 cals)
Three bean salad
Chop 3 spring onions, 5 cherry tomatoes and 1 green pepper. Mix with 3tbsp each of red kidney beans, chick peas and cannelini beans and 2tbsp fat-free dressing. Serve with salad and 1 wholemeal bread roll topped with 2tsp low-fat spread.

Dinner (500 cals)
Lamb chop with potato and vegetables
Grill 1 lean loin lamb chop and serve with 1 jacket potato, topped with 1tsp low-fat spread, vegetables and 1tbsp mint sauce.

Snack (200 cals)
Chop 1 kiwi fruit, 1 small banana and 1 satsuma. Top with 1 small pot diet fromage frais and 1tbsp chopped mixed nuts.

Well it doesn't sound that great to me to be honest. I think you are lacking some major vitimins in there, but on the right track. i would have low fat yogurt (Greek) with bannana and other fuit cut up in it.

lunch soup would be ok, why not make your own then you can put loads of veg in it and maybe beans or lentals to fill you up and have some more fuit.

and dinner , well bean stew ok but why not have grilled fish or chicken/turkey with veg salad and boiled pots. Drink lots of water and hot water and lemon is good as it stops craving and good detox aid. The main point is not to be hungry, thats not what dieting is about.Health Question & Answer

Dont think a muller light and an apple adds up to 135 cals - an apple on its own is about 65
