Can i star lifting weights when i turn 14(Next Jan.)?!


Question: Can i star lifting weights when i turn 14(Next Jan.).?
So i'll be 14 next Jan and i was wondering if 14 is a good age to start lifting weight,or should i wait more.?

Another thing(but answer the above question first please)

50 pushups,20 crunches,20 side crunches(each side) 3X a week,is that a good workout or should i increase the days or rep..?

you should avoid weight lifting till at least 16.
