How do I get my motivation back and get active to hopefully loose weight? (LONG STORY. HELP?!)?!


Question: How do I get my motivation back and get active to hopefully loose weight.? (LONG STORY. HELP.?!).?
I used to be very motivated and active and weighed 45kg. I moved out of home due to my mum and dad splitting up and because I do not get along with my mum's new husband.

I live with a good friend and with her family. They've taken me in as their own. I've been living with them for about 2 years now. Although it seems that ever since I've moved in here, I have gained weight, I do not do any activities anymore. I used to go out every day at my previous home and hang out with friends, skate and do a lot of stuff, now I don't. We mostly get take away foods here, unlike my previous home, my mum would always make home cooked meals every night. And my friend over eats so she's over weight and I think I got that habit from her so yeah I eat more than what I used to eat about 2 years ago with no exercise at all what so ever.

I haven't been active for the past 2 years or so now. There's nothing to do around this area, no kids my age to go hang out and skate or what ever. We're about 45mins bus ride to the city. And when I go out with my friends I don't feel 100% like I used to, due to this fact, so I don't really enjoy being out that much anymore. I don't listen to music as much as I used to now because it reminds me of when I used to be skinny and it sometimes makes me sad so I try and avoid listening to music and just try and get away from feeling sad about my weight by eating(I KNOW ITS WEIRD BUT EATING MAKES ME HAPPY NOW WHEN IT NEVER USED TO) and playing online games and playstation.

I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can get back and get motivated and get active in order to hopefully loose weight. I have this big beer belly gut now and it looks so GROSS and I weigh about 61kg-62kg now. Help please.?Health Question & Answer

There are numerous things you need to look at here. Im not standing right next to you.....so im going to take a punt at this.
Watching your parents split up can be very traumatic. Is it possible you are steal dealing with some of these feelings and are using food as a substitute.?
Watch what you are putting in your mouth.
Energy comes from the food you eat.
Cut down on the unnatural carbs, such as white bread, potato's etc.
Get plenty of fiber! Not enough fiber will make you feel very groggy, decrease the serotonin levels in your brain and slow down your digestive system.
Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables!
Do this for a week and you'll see your mood and enegery increase.
Start incorporating exercise in to your every day.
eg; Walk to the next bus stop.

Once your body starts to change and you deal with the issues of your parents, you'll prob find it easier to socialize.

alright i will tell you like i tell everyone else with this same problem. you need to look deep down inside yourself and come to realize that this is not what you wont!that you can be far better than you ever were!you seem to be eating cause of boredom and depression, so i would listen to some music and just jog daily and think of all of your problems and thoughts while you do this or a workout routine and that can be your driving force to becoming and staying healthy! But keep in mind it will take some time but it WILL work.
