Question: Help a 14 year old boy lose weight..?
hello everyone. im about 170 lbs and im trying to get down to 150 before febuary. im currentley a member at a gym. what im asking is what kind of food should i be eating for breakfast lunch and dinner, how many times a week should i run for, and how many times per week should i weight train.? im not looking to stop once i get to 150 i wanna start living a healthy lifestyle. thanks for all your help. Answers:
definately cut down on bread, tortillas, mayo, sour cream, ice cream, creamy salad dressing like thousand islands or ranch and NO FASTFOOD or FATTY SNACKS.

NO SODA! only drink mostly water, milk and Fresh juice (stay away from sugary ones at the store).

You can run, bike, starmaster, oliptical machine every day, but to start you will probably want to run 3 to 4 times a week (at least 30 minutes of cardio)...as you become more fit you will need to bump up the exersize. If you want to change any fat into muscle make sure you get a good amount of protein in your diet (chicken).

Remember to stretch and breath. Take vitamens.

Eats lots of fruits, veggies, chicken, salads. If you do eat any bread make sure its whole grain or wheat (NOT WHITE) and only eat small proportions.

DONT HAVE SECONDS and ONLY EAT WHEN YOUR HUNGRY and EAT SMALLER PORTIONS (if you currently eat a lot).

Breakfast: stick to whole grain cereals/oatmeal (no fruitloops and sugary stuff like that)
or eggs (2 at most)
Have some apple or and orange
water

Snack: fruit or veggies or string cheese or yogurt or granola bar

Lunch: chicken salad, or some soup, tuna sandwich or something to that effect.

Snack: (if you need one)

Diner: Similar to lunch.
